A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to meet the two authors of
Nonfiction Mentor Texts, Lynne Dorfman and Rose Cappelli. I learned so much about nonfiction texts at their workshop. They really aren't boring informational texts anymore! I feel so much more prepared for student teaching and my career beyond.
